For moral courage for a Catholic young woman starting at a Catholic college in the Northeast who is facing temptations with a new male friend who smokes pot. Her parents are clearly worried and need prayer too.

I would like to ask everyone to please pray for the Holy Father as he is clearly in pain from his sciatica. Let's ask our newly-canonized Saint Junípero Serra to heal him and make the rest of his time in the United States more comfortable.
I know I've mentioned this before, but Mark and I were very proud to be cantors at the Mission San Diego de Alcalá--the first mission founded by Junípero Serra in Alta California. (Where we sat to the side of the sacristy was also near the tomb of California's first martyr, Padre Luis Jayme.)
While I've got you: our next novena will be to Our Lady of the Rosary and will start Monday, September 28.
