Thanksgiving to God and to St. Martin de Porres for leading us to adopt 2 brother cats who are sweet, affectionate, quiet, and just a whole lot less work than our previous 2 cats were.

Good came out of my aunt's surgery (request #2093): through a strange set of circumstances, my sister was hired to work in the cardiac ICU where Aunt Kathy was treated. She is ecstatic to have found a nursing job in St. Louis.
