I need a break from the Prayer List for 6-8 months. There is a big project I simply need to devote more time to--and would appreciate your prayers that I can complete it.
Until now, I have not allowed comments on the blog, but my thought is to allow comments so you can post your own requests and followups. I will moderate all comments first in case we get some rogue posters. And I would ask that you keep the same format we've been using:
2147 (use the next number from the request above)
CM (your initials)
Birmingham, AL (your location)
Brief request using at least a first name--if for an individual.
Please pray for my cousin Mary W. who suffered a heart attack yesterday.
Giving your relationship to the person will help weed out petitions that aren't firsthand knowledge. Read the Rules of the Prayer List if you need a reminder. I will not allow posts that don't fit the guidelines.
I will create a new post where you can start adding requests. Will also clear out the Followups page so you can start adding followups there. When I have a chance I will list ALL the currently unresolved requests on the Unresolved page, so you can check to see if you have a request that needs following up. If you use that request number on the Followup page, I'll be able to then delete it from the Unresolved page. Got it?
If this all ends up being too complicated, I'll just shut the blog down indefinitely.
